Soup (Jurassic 5)
Zaakir, born Courtenay Henderson and better known as Soup, is an American rapper and a founding member of the group Jurassic 5. Personal Life Zaakir grew up in South Central, Los Angeles, and he had a music-loving father who helped him to discover funk music, including the Ohio Players and the Fatback Band, Otis Redding, Muddy Waters, and Sam Cooke. He also grew up singing Al Green and Fats Domino. Over time he discovered hip hop, including Sugarhill Gang. He went to Manual Arts High School. His uncle, who was working for a Gang Taskforce invited him to a ''Rap for Peace'' show, where he performed '''Stop Gang Violence'','' and that helped get the ball rolling in his rap career. Breakestra is a ten-piece funk "orchestra" from Los Angeles, California, formed by Miles Tackett in 1996. Tackett, also known as "Musicman", records, composes, plays bass, upright cello, guitar, keyboards and drums. He also sings along with the other front man Mix Master Wolf. Zach Sciacca (born July 22, 1971), better known as DJ Z-Trip, is an American DJ and producer. He is a pioneer of the mashup movement. He was the 2009 recipient of the "America's Best DJ Award".
