Sound Pellegrino is a Parisian independent record company founded in March 2009 by Teki Latex and Orgasmic (formerly from alt-rap group TTC), originally as a sub-label of Institubes. After 15 releases under the Institubes umbrella, it became fully independent in December 2010 for the release of Panteros666's "Kegstand / X Lova / Horreo" EP. Sound Pellegrino is currently run by Teki Latex, Orgasmic and Emile Shahidi. Techno
Techno is a genre of electronic dance music (EDM) which is generally produced for use in a continuous DJ set, with tempo often varying between 120 and 150 beats per minute (bpm). The central rhythm is typically in common time (4/4) and often characterized by a repetitive four on the floor beat. Artists may use electronic instruments such as drum machines, sequencers, and synthesizers, as well as digital audio workstations. Drum machines from the 1980s such as Roland's TR-808 and TR-909 are highly prized, and software emulations of such retro instruments are popular. Night Slugs is an English electronic music record label, established in 2010 by Alex Sushon (also known as Bok Bok) and James Connolly (also known as L-Vis 1990). History Night Slugs was originally started as a London-based club night by DJs/producers Alex Sushon and James Connolly after the two met on Myspace in 2008. The first Night Slugs party was staged at the Redstar in Camberwell in March 2008, though the nights would eventually move to the more centrally located East Village. After artists featured at the club nights remained unsigned, Sushon and Connolly founded Night Slugs as a record label in January 2010 with the release of Mosca’s ''Square One EP''. Johan Linus Eklöw, (born 29 August 1979) better known by his stage name Style of Eye, is a Swedish DJ, record producer, and songwriter. He is part of the electronic music group Galantis. Savage Skulls
The Savage Skulls are a mostly Puerto Ricans, Puerto Rican and African American street gang started in the Hunts Point, Bronx, Hunts Point area of the Bronx during the late 1960s, gaining popularity in the 1970s. The gang declared war on the drug dealers operating in the Hunts Point area in the early 1970s, and was also involved in a number of running battles with rival gangs, including the Seven Immortals, Savage Nomads, and Dirty Dozen. The gang was photographed by Jean-Pierre Laffont in 1972 and were the subject of the 1979 documentary film ''80 Blocks From Tiffany's.'' The leader of the gang was Felipe Mercado. Like the Savage Nomads, gang members would appropriate Nazi symbolism to project "how menacing and terrible they were." Jean-Baptiste de Laubier (born 2 April 1979), known professionally as Para One, is a French electronic music producer and film director. Music career Laubier first came to prominence as one of the main producers of French rap group TTC, and was responsible for producing their 2004 signature tune ''Dans Le Club''. With fellow TTC producer Tacteel he made up the now defunct live/improvised electro outfit Fuck-A-Loop (whose only recorded material prior to 2007's nine-hour digital album ''The Early Aughties'' was a 2006 remix of Ellen Allien's ''Down''). Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen (born 22 October 1976), better known under his stage name Laidback Luke, is a Dutch DJ and music producer.
