Sotiris Liberopoulos
Sotiris Liberopoulos ( el, Σωτήρης Λυμπερόπουλος; born 29 June 1977) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Biography Sotiris Liberopoulos was born in Filiatra in western Messinia and began his career from the local team Erani along with his famous cousin Nikos. Later on, he played with Kalamata where he became one of the most famous players and entered the U-21 team. With Kalamata, he began his debut in the First Division on 14 January 1996 against Apollon in Rizoupoli. He also played by transcription with other teams including Ethnikos, AEK, the Belgian team La Louvière, Akratitos, Kastoria and from 2007 with Xanthi. Filiatra
Filiatra ( el, Φιλιατρά), is a town and a former municipality in Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Trifylia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 114.877 km2. Filiatra is situated near the Ionian Sea coast in western Messenia. It is located 11 km northwest of Gargalianoi, 13 km southwest of Kyparissia, 29 km northwest of Pylos and 49 km west of Kalamata. The Greek National Road 9 ( Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia - Pylos) passes through the town. Filiatra was founded around the 12th and the 13th centuries. It was built near the site of the ancient city Erana. Filiatra has several schools, churches and shops. A scaled reproduction of the Eiffel Tower stands at the entrance to the village. The Super League Greece 1 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λιγκ 1), or Super League 1, is the highest professional association football league in Greece. ''Ta Nea'' ( el, Τα Νέα, italic=yes; Translation: ''The News'') is a daily newspaper published in Athens. It was owned by Lambrakis Press Group (DOL), which also published the newspaper ''To Vima''. The assets of DOL were acquired in 2017 by Alter Ego Media S.A. The newspaper began publishing in 1931 under the title (''Athinaika Nea'', ''Athens News''), with the first issue being released on May 28. After the Axis occupation of Greece, it changed its name simply to "Ta Nea". ''Ta Nea'' has been Greek's best-selling newspaper for decades, although the internet and the financial crisis have affected its circulation. A.P.O. Akratitos Ano Liosia ( el, Α.Π.Ο. Ακράτητος Άνω Λιοσίων) is a Greek football professional club from Ano Liosia, Athens, Greece. They currently play in the Alpha Division of the Football League championship, which is the third level of the Greek football pyramid. They maintain a quite strong academy of youngsters.
