Sosefo Mautāmakia I, nicknamed Tokila, was a king of Uvea, ruling from 1906 until 1910 and again from 1931 until 1933. Lusiano Aisake
Lusiano Aisake (died 7 September 1906) was a king of Uvea, who ruled from 1904 until 1906. He came to power after Vito Lavelua II in August 1904 when he was around 65 years old. According to Jean-Claude Roux, Lusiano Aisake was the “favorite of the resident Chauvot, but elected against the advice of the resident De Keroman”. The French captain Adigart, commanding the aviso An ''aviso'' was originally a kind of dispatch boat or "advice boat", carrying orders before the development of effective remote communication. The term, derived from the Portuguese and Spanish word for "advice", "notice" or "warning", an ... '' Protet'' which passed through Wallis in October 1904, judged him "unfavorable to the whites of the island". The resident Viala judged him very negatively, "with a suspicious and authoritarian behavior". Aisake rules for two years; he died on 7 September 1906. Soane-Patita Lavuia (died 30 November 1916) was a king of Uvea, ruling from 1910 until 1916. He succeeded Sosefo Mautāmakia I following a dispute between the king, the resident of France and the Catholic mission. Mikaele Tufele II (died 30 November 1933) was a king of Uvea, ruling from 1928 until 1931, and again for a brief time in 1933. He was preceded by Tomasi Kulimoetoke I, and succeeded by Sosefo Mautāmakia I. Petelo Kahofuna
Petelo Kahofuna was a king of Uvea, ruling briefly in 1933. He was preceded by Sosefo Mautāmakia I, and succeeded by Mikaele Tufele II. Following the death of Sosefo Mautāmakia I he was elected king on March 13 1933. However, the French colonial administration refused to recognise his election. On 23 May a French warship arrived carrying the remains of Sosefo, as well as Mukoi, one of Sosefo's ministers. Kahofuna was informed that he was dismissed as king.
