Soong Joo Ven
Soong Joo Ven (; born 19 May 1995) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was part of the Malaysian team that won gold in the 2011 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team event. Career 2011-2017 He won silver medal at the 2012 Asia Junior Championships in the boys' singles event after losing to Kento Momota of Japan. He was the runner-up of the 2015 Malaysia International Challenge tournament in the men's singles event, and in 2016, he also became the runner-up of the Scottish Open Grand Prix tournament. In 2017, he reached the Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold semifinals. 2018 He was a runner-up at the Hyderabad Open, where he lost to Sameer Verma in two games. He also had a few quarterfinal finishes at the German Open and the Korea Masters. 2019 He won the Malaysia International by beating compatriot Cheam June Wei. Ampang, Selangor
Ampang Jaya, more commonly known as just Ampang, is a town, a mukim and a parliamentary constituency straddling parts of the Hulu Langat District and Gombak District, in eastern Selangor, Malaysia. A nova (plural novae or novas) is a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star (hence the name "nova", which is Latin for "new") that slowly fades over weeks or months. Cheam June Wei (born 23 January 1997) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was the mixed doubles gold medalist at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. Career Cheam started playing badminton at aged 8 in Penang. As a junior player, he has been trained by Teh Peng Huat, the former coach of world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei, for more than year before training under task Lim Theam Teow. In 2012, he won the mixed team bronze medal at the Asia Junior Championships in Gimcheon, South Korea. Korea Masters
The Korea Masters is an international badminton tournament that usually held in November or December every year of BWF event calendar in South Korea. The total prize money in 2016 was US$120,000. Before 2010, the level of the tournament was an International Challenge, which is the fourth level tournament of international badminton tournament. It began in 2007, when it was held in Suwon, then it moved to Yeosu in 2008 and Hwasun in 2009. In 2010, it was turned into a BWF Grand Prix event. German Open (badminton)
The German Open is an annual badminton tournament held in Germany since 1955 (as West Germany) and organized by German Badminton Association or Deutscher Badminton Verband (DBV). The tournaments were not held in the year 1970, 1979 and 1998. Known as German Badminton Championships until 1980, the tournament was later allowed to be known as Open Championships from 1981 on.
