Sony α3000
The Sony α3000 (model ILCE-3000) is a DSLR-styled mirrorless camera announced by Sony on 27 August 2013. Sony α3000 comes with a newly developed APS-C Exmor sensor, ISO ranges touches 100–16000, Full HD at 60 fps. This was the first camera introduced in Sony's newly rebranded "ILCE" range. In Australia, Mexico, Russia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa it was replaced in March 2014 with the Sony α3500, which is identical but sold with the cheaper Sony E 18-50mm F4-5.6 kit lens. BIONZ
BIONZ is a line of image processors used in Sony digital cameras. It is currently used in many Sony α DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Image processing in the camera converts the raw data from a CCD or CMOS image sensor into the format that is stored on the memory card. This processing is one of the bottlenecks in digital camera speed, so manufacturers put much effort into making, and marketing, the fastest processors for this step that they can. Sony designs the circuitry of the processor in-house, and outsources the manufacturing to semiconductor foundries such as MegaChips and (mostly) GlobalFoundries, as they currently do not own any fabrication plant capable of producing a system on a chip (SoC). In Sony digital cameras, the acronym ILCE stands for "Interchangeable Lens Camera with E-mount". In August 2013, Sony announced the first model of the ILCE mirrorless camera with E-mount, electronic viewfinder, contrast-detection autofocus and Multi Interface Shoe, the ILCE-3000.
