Sony YAY!
Sony YAY! is an Indian pay television channel aimed at children, operated by Culver Max Entertainment. The channel created for age groups between 6 and 14. The channel primarily airs foreign animated series and some animes in native languages. History The channel was launched on 18 April 2017, Sony Pictures Networks announced their plans to migrate all Indian animated programming broadcast on the channel as paid content to its digital platform Sony LIV. When the channel was launched, it only aired original Indian animated series. Beginning in 2021, the channel started airing foreign shows. On August 1, 2017, Sony YAY! started airing Guru Aur Bhole for the first season. Sony YAY! launched '' Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah,'' an animated show based on the Hindi sitcom ''Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'' on 19 April 2021''.'' 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. SonyLIV is an Indian over-the-top freemium streaming platform owned by Culver Max Entertainment. SonyLIV was introduced in 2013 as the first OTT service in India. As a streaming service, it is carrying content from its local networks, including films, television series, live sports matches and original programming, and also featuring content licensed from third-parties in India such as Lionsgate and ITV among others.
