Sonemus Fest
Sonemus Fest is an international multi-day contemporary classical music festival which annually takes place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 2001 by The Society Of New Music Sarajevo (SONEMUS) in cooperation with the Sarajevo Music Academy and the Pro Helvetia Foundation. Its focus is on the promotion of classical composers from the countries of Southeast Europe who belong to the contemporary art music aesthetic. The festival has hosted numerous international composers such as Jürg Wyttenbach, Urška Pompe, Uroš Rojko, Marko Nikodijević, Richard Barrett, Antoine Fachard, Simon Steen-Andersen, Hanan Hadžajlić, Ališer Sijarić, Dino Residbegovic, and others. Hanan Hadžajlić
Hanan Hadžajlić (born 16 August 1991) is a Bosnian composer, flutist, and researcher. She co-founded the INSAM Institute for Contemporary Artistic Music and serves as its director. Since 2018, Hadžajlić has worked as a teaching assistant in the Composition Department of the Sarajevo Music Academy, part of the University of Sarajevo. Career Hadžajlić is holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in flute performance, a Master's Degree in composition, and a Master's Degree in flute performance. She is a PhD student of Transdisciplinary Studies of Contemporary Art and Media. Her research fields include composition, contemporary improvisation and electroacoustic music performance, transhumanist music, artificial musical intelligence (AMI), transculturality, nomadism and globalization.
