Sommets Du Cinéma D'animation
The Sommets du cinéma d'animation (English: ''Animation Film Summits'') is an annual festival created in 2002 dedicated to Animation, animation cinema in all its forms, encompassing both heritage and new media. Organized by the Cinémathèque québécoise, the festival is held every year in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. History Originally consisting of a screening of the best international animated shorts of the year, the event became a festival of non-competitive animation in 2008, seeking to encourage meetings between artists and the public. Cinémathèque Québécoise
The Cinémathèque québécoise is a film conservatory in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Its purpose is to preserve, document, film and television footage and related documents and artifacts for future use by the public. The Cinémathèque's collections include over 35,000 films from all eras and countries, 25,000 television programmes, 28,000 posters, 600,000 photos, 2,000 pieces of historical equipment, 15,000 scripts and production documents, 45,000 books, 3,000 magazine titles, thousands of files as well as objects, props and costumes. The conservatory also includes a film theatre which screens rarely seen film and video. Musée De La Civilisation
The Musée de la civilisation, often directly translated in English-language media outside Quebec as the Museum of Civilization, is a museum located in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It is situated in the historic Old Quebec area near the Saint Lawrence River. It was designed by architect Moshe Safdie, and opened its doors to the public on 19 October 1988.
