Solution A.D. was an American rock band from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The band was initially named Solution, and appended the "A.D." after discovering that another group with the same name already existed. Solution A.D.at Allmusic The group was noticed by Live guitarist Chad Taylor at a performance at CBGB, and he signed on to produce their debut EP, which was released in 1996. The group issued a full-length album soon after on Atlantic Records and toured widely behind it. The single "Fearless", taken from the full-length album, received airplay on MTV and reached No. 33 on the Billboard Modern Rock charts in 1996; it was the group's only hit. East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania
East Stroudsburg is a borough in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in the Poconos region of the state. Originally known as "Dansbury", East Stroudsburg was renamed for geographic reasons when the Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad opened a station in town. Despite its name being derivative of its bordering borough, Stroudsburg, it has almost twice the population. East Stroudsburg is the largest municipality in Monroe County and in the East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Metropolitan Statistical Area as designated by the Office of Management and Budget based on data from the 2010 US Census. TAG Recordings
TAG Recordings was an imprint of Atlantic Records, created in 1994 to host Atlantic's stable of alternative rock artists and capitalize on the genre's popularity at that time. The roster consisted of artists already signed to Atlantic, such as The Lemonheads and Jawbox, and bolstered with new signings like Fountains of Wayne, Dinosaur Jr. bassist Mike Johnson, and The Bottle Rockets. TAG also released soundtrack CDs for two movies, ''White Man's Burden'' (1995) and ''I Shot Andy Warhol'' (1996). Despite wide acclaim for many of their releases, like Fountains of Wayne's self-titled debut or their reissue of The Bottle Rockets' ''The Brooklyn Side'', the imprint fared poorly in terms of sales. Live (, often typeset as LĪVE or +LĪVE+) is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, guitars), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), Chad Gracey (drums), and Chad Taylor (guitars). Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of this original lineup. Chad David Taylor (born November 24, 1970, in York, Pennsylvania, York, Pennsylvania) is an American guitarist and backing vocalist for the band The Gracious Few and former guitarist for the band Live (band), Live. Live have sold over 20 million records, including the RIAA certification, 8× platinum album ''Throwing Copper''. Career Taylor was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band Live and had appeared on all their albums to June 2022. CBGB was a New York City music club opened in 1973 by Hilly Kristal in Manhattan's East Village. The club was previously a biker bar and before that was a dive bar. The letters ''CBGB'' were for '' Country'', '' BlueGrass'', and '' Blues'', Kristal's original vision, yet CBGB soon became a famed venue of punk rock and new wave bands like the Ramones, Television, Patti Smith Group, Blondie, and Talking Heads.
