Celiac Plexus
The celiac plexus, also known as the solar plexus because of its radiating nerve fibers, is a complex network of nerves located in the abdomen, near where the celiac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, and renal arteries branch from the abdominal aorta. It is behind the stomach and the omental bursa, and in front of the crura of the diaphragm, on the level of the first lumbar vertebra. The plexus is formed in part by the greater and lesser splanchnic nerves of both sides, and fibers from the anterior and posterior vagal trunks. The celiac plexus proper consists of the celiac ganglia with a network of interconnecting fibers. The aorticorenal ganglia are often considered to be part of the celiac ganglia, and thus, part of the plexus. ''Solar Plexus'' is a compilation album released by Mavin Records on May 8, 2012. Produced entirely by Don Jazzy, the album comprises 13 tracks and was made available for free digital download. It contains solo tracks from D'Prince, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal and Dr SID. The album's release coincided with the record label's launch date. ''Solar Plexus'' was supported by two singles: "Take Banana" and "Omo Ga". It received generally negative reviews from music critics. Background and singles The album's recording sessions took place in Lagos at Mavin Records Studio. ''Solar Plexus'' was mixed and mastered by James "LeRock" Loughrey at Tardis Studios in the United Kingdom. Bert Gustav Tommy Körberg (; born 4 July 1948) is a Swedish singer, actor, and musician. English-speaking audiences know him best for his role as Anatoly/"The Russian" in the musical ''Chess''. He played the role on the 1984 concept album, and on stage in the 1986 world première West End production in London, as well as several times since. Körberg has also played the lead role in many Swedish productions of other musicals. Career From 1965 to 1968, Körberg was a singer in the Swedish pop group Tom & Mick & Maniacs, which went through several name changes. In August 1967, the group released the single " Somebody's Taken Maria Away", a cover of an Adam Faith song from 1965. The Empire Shall Fall is an American metalcore band formed by Jesse Leach with friends in 2008. The band released their first independent album ''Awaken'' which was released on November 17, 2009, until Jesse and Nick left The Empire Shall Fall in 2019.
