Solaiyamma
''Solaiyamma'' is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Kasthuri Raja. The film stars Rahul, Sukanya and Karikalan. It was released on 11 December 1992. Plot Solaiyamma is a mother-less woman who is looked after by her father. She has been promised in marriage with her relative Balraj and they are in love. Vairavan is a heartless muscular man who spreads terror among the villagers and rapes the village girls. One night, Vairavan enters Solaiyamma's house and tries to rape Solaiyamma but she stands against him and Vairavan runs away. The entire village thinks that she has been raped including her relatives and then her father commits suicide. Thereafter, she is rejected by the village. Vairavan tortures her psychologically to spend a night with him. What transpires later forms the crux of the story. Sukanya (actress)
Sukanya is an Indian Bharatnatyam dancer, actress, music composer and voice actor. She has acted in Tamil films in addition to some Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. Periya Karuppa Thevar (1936 - 18 September 2012) was a Tamil film character artiste and folk singer who appeared in Tamil-language films. Jai Ganesh (1946 – 11 February 2001) was an Indian Tamil film actor. He had supporting roles in the films ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' and ''Attukara Alamelu'', among others. His most popular roles have been as a supporting actor or as a villain in films such as '' Thaayillamal Naan Illai'' (1979) and ''Athisaya Piravi'' (1990). Janagaraj is an Indian actor who has appeared in over 200 films predominantly in Tamil cinema as a comedian or in supporting roles. He also starred in few Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films.
