Sofiane Diop
Sofiane Diop (born 9 June 2000) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 club Nice. Club career On 5 July 2018, Diop signed his first professional contract with Monaco after his debut season with the reserve side of Rennes. He made his professional debut in a 4–0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain on 4 August 2018 in the Trophée des Champions. On 29 August 2022, fellow Ligue 1 club Nice announced the signing of Diop from Monaco. International career Diop was born in France to a Senegalese father and Moroccan mother. Football Club Sochaux-Montbéliard (; commonly referred to as FCSM or simply Sochaux) is a French association football club based in the city of Montbéliard. The 2017–18 Championnat National 2 was the 20th season of the fourth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition was contested by 64 clubs split geographically across 4 groups of 16 teams each. The 2019–20 Ligue 2 (referred to as the Domino's Pizza, Domino's Ligue 2 for sponsorship reasons) season was the 81st season since its establishment.
