Sofia Reideborn
Sofia Reideborn (born 24 March 1999) is a Swedish ice hockey goaltender, currently playing with Göteborg HC of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). Career Born in Stockholm, Riedeborn began her career with AIK IF. In 2017, she left the club to join SDE Hockey, where she would take over the starting goalie position. She would go on to play with the club for the next four seasons, including the club's first ever playoff appearance in 2020. A self-described "controversial player", Reideborn announced she was stepping back from hockey in July 2020 following a controversial podcast in which she made comments denounced by multiple players as misogynistic and homophobic. In September 2020, she criticised the members of the Swedish national women's football team for expressing support of Black Lives Matter during their European Championship qualifiers. Adam Reideborn
Adam Reideborn (born 18 January 1992) is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender for SC Bern in the National League (NL). Playing career Reideborn made his Swedish Hockey League debut playing with Modo Hockey during the 2014–15 SHL season. After the 2015–16 season, despite appearing in a career high 32 games he was unable to prevent Modo from suffering relegation, Reideborn opted to remain in the SHL, signing a two-year contract to return to Djurgårdens IF. Reideborn was awarded the Honken Trophy as the best goaltender in the 2018–19 SHL regular season. On 24 May 2019, Reideborn left the SHL after his strong season, securing his first contract abroad, agreeing to a one-year deal with Russian outfit, Ak Bars Kazan of the KHL. The 2015 IIHF World Women's U18 Championships was the eighth World Women's U18 Championship. The top division tournament was played in Buffalo, United States, from 5 to 12 January 2015. Twenty nations played in three levels, with promotion and relegation for the top and bottom teams at each level. The United States won their fourth title defeating Canada in overtime in the gold medal game, with Jincy Dunne scoring on the power play. This was the eighth consecutive final between the two nations, evening their all-time records. The Swedish Women's Hockey League ( sv, Svenska damhockeyligan), abbreviated SDHL, is the elite league for women's ice hockey in Sweden.
