Sofi Mkheyan
Sofi Mkheyan ( hy, Սոֆի Մխեյան, born April 8, 1984) is an Armenian singer and the winner of Best Newcomer award at the Armenian National Music Awards in Yerevan in 2005. Early life Mkheyan was born in Yerevan, the daughter of Parliament member Gagik Mkheyan, who previously served as the Vice President of Orinats Yerkir. She has one brother, Gor. She started singing at the Doremi Vocal Studio and later Sayat Music School and Romanos Melikyan Musical College; all three are in Yerevan. She then attended Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. Career Mkheyan won the Best Newcomer award at the Armenian National Music Awards in 2005; Best Modern Pop Female in 2009; and Best Female Singer in 2010. As of 2022, she has released 4 albums: ''Kyanke Qo'', ''Luys Khavarum'', ''2012'', and ''The Best of Sofi Mkheyan'', as well as a number of singles. Nune Yesayan ( hy, Նունե Եսայան, born August 5, 1969), commonly known as Nune or Nouné, is an Armenian singer who began singing with an Armenian jazz band in the early 1990s before becoming a lounge singer at resorts in the Middle East. Harout Arthur Der-Hovagimian (sometimes spelled "Ter-Hovakimyan"; born 22 February 1974) is a Canadian-Armenian composer, songwriter and record producer. Career Harout Arthur Der-Hovagimian signed his first recording contract at the age of 17 with the newly found Canadian record label Hi-Bias Records. Nikol Pashinyan
Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan ( hy, Նիկոլ Վովայի Փաշինյան, ; born 1 June 1975) is an Armenian politician serving as the prime minister of Armenia since 8 May 2018. A journalist by profession, Pashinyan founded his own newspaper in 1998, which was shut down a year later for libel.
