Soeroso
Raden Panji Soeroso ( EYD: Suroso) (born in Porong, Sidoarjo, East Java, Dutch East Indies, 3 November 1893 - died in Indonesia, 16 May 1981 at the age of 87 years) was a politician, Sarekat Islam activist, and a National Hero of Indonesia. He served as Governor of Central Java and Minister of Public Works and Manpower under the Great Indonesia Party. He was also a vice chairman of the BPUPK and a member of PPKI. He was the founder of the Civil Servants Cooperative Republic of Indonesia. Soeroso was born in Porong, Sidoarjo, East Java, Dutch East Indies. Soeroso was posthumously honored as an Indonesian National Hero through a Presidential Decree issued on October 23, 1986. He died in Indonesia. Anwar Tjokroaminoto
Oetarjo Anwar Tjokroaminoto (3 May 1909 – 16 November 1975) was an Indonesian politician and journalist. He served as Minister of Social Affairs for a year in the Wilopo Cabinet, and was the Prime Minister of Pasundan for less than a month during January 1950. Son of Indonesian nationalist and Sarekat Islam founder H.O.S. Tjokroaminoto, he studied journalism in his youth and for some time worked in schools affiliated with his father's political party PSII before working for newspapers. He worked for the '' Asia Raya'' newspaper during the Japanese occupation period, and he was also managing editor for '' Pemandangan''. After Indonesian independence, Tjokroaminoto entered politics through the Masyumi Party, serving briefly as a minister before moving to PSII. This is a list of noble titles commonly used at the Surakarta and Yogyakarta courts, including the Mangkunegaran and Pakualaman palaces. As the symbols and centres of Javanese culture, the sovereigns of both these courts still hold high esteem in Javanese society and Indonesian society in general. The Princely Families are still known by their noble titles. Many people with distant familial relations to the Palaces also use noble titles, which sometimes are included in the official register of the names. Abdi dalem with prominent stature are also granted titles. The sovereigns also still grant titles to certain persons deemed helpful in maintaining Javanese traditions and the dignity of the royal courts, even to non-Javanese. The Great Indonesia Party ( id, Partai Indonesia Raya, Parindra) was the name used by two Indonesian political parties. Pre-war party The first Parindra was established in December 1935 as a result of a merger between the Budi Utomo political society and the Indonesian National Union (''Perserikatan Bangsa Indonesia'') with the aim of working with the Dutch to secure Indonesian independence. Mohammad Noor (24 June 1901 – 15 January 1979), known by his Indonesian name Pangeran Mohammad Noor and also written as P. M. Noor, was an Indonesian politician, independence fighter and first Governor of Kalimantan. He was also member of the Investigating Committee for Preparatory Work for Independence and served as the Minister of Public Works between 1956 and 1959. Early life Mohammad Noor was born on 24 June 1901, in Martapura, South Kalimantan, from an aristocratic family of the Sultanate of Banjar.
