Soe Lwin Lwin ( my, စိုးလွင်လွင်; 18 September 1962 – 25 July 1999), also known as Po Po, was a well-known singer-composer in the 1980s in Myanmar. He penned several songs for successful singers such as Kaiser ''Kaiser'' is the German word for "emperor" (female Kaiserin). In general, the German title in principle applies to rulers anywhere in the world above the rank of king (''König''). Kaiser (Burmese Singer)
Kaiser ( my, ကိုင်ဇာ, ; also Kaizar; born 18 February 1961) is a Burmese singer-songwriter who was most popular in the late 1970s and mid-1980s. The ethnic Rakhine singer was arguably the most successful male singer in Myanmar in the early 1980s. His nonthreatening rockabilly songs were popular with the young and the old alike. He collaborated with leading songwriters of the day like Saw Bwe Mhu, Naing Myanmar, Soe Lwin Lwin, Maung Maung Zan, and Thukhamein Hlaing. His most successful songs were written by Naing Myanmar and Saw Bwe Mhu. Kaiser was also a successful songwriter, who penned many commercially successful songs for top singers of the day, including May Sweet, and Maykhala, his wife in the mid-1980s. Most of his songs were of his own creation although he also sampled and covered Western rock-and-roll hits, most notably those by the Beatles. Hlwan Moe ( my, လွှမ်းမိုး) was a popular Burmese songwriter, composer and singer. He is known for a number of popular hit songs, including "Maiden in My Heart" (), "It's Like This in the Neighborhood" (), "Teacher" () and "Falling Raindrops'" (). Before going solo, he performed in a music band and gained success producing the band's songs. Early life Hlwan Moe was born on 27 June 1954 in Rangoon, Burma (now Yangon, Myanmar). Death and legacy Hlwan Moe died in a car crash on 10 July 2001. In 2016, a popular Burmese singers, including Marazza, Graham, R Zarni, Zaw Paing, Phoe Kar, Nanda Ayeya, Nyan Lin Aung, Phyo Pyae Sone, Aung Htet, and Aung Myint Myat, staged a concert dedicated to Hlwan Moe's classics.
