''Soan Papdi'' ( ta, சோன்பப்டி) is a 2015 Tamil language comedy crime thriller film written and directed by debutant Sivani and produced by S. Kalaivani under Golden Movie Maker. The film features Sri of ''Vazhakku Enn 18/9'' fame, child actor Sahil (making his debut), Priya, and Niranjana in lead roles, while Manobala and Pattimandram Raja play supporting roles. The music was composed by Dhanraj Manickam with cinematography by Thanu Balaji and editing by K. Thanigachalam. The film released on 29 May 2015. Sri (actor)
Sri is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil language films. Career While pursuing a degree in Visual Communications at Alpha and Arts Science College, later at Loyola College, Sri appeared in his first acting role in the television serial ''Kana Kaanum Kaalangal'' on STAR Vijay and tried to audition for the lead role in Balaji Sakthivel's ''Kalloori'' (2007), without success. Sri was subsequently cast in the director's next film, the drama thriller ''Vazhakku Enn 18/9'' (2012) featuring newcomers, and it went on to open to unanimously positive reviews. To prepare for the role, he went to roadside eateries in Ramapuram and familiarised himself in the lifestyle of settlers. ''Vazhakku Enn 18/9'' () is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film written and directed by Balaji Sakthivel, starring newcomers Sri, Urmila Mahanta, Mithun Murali and Manisha Yadav. Pre-production of the film began in 2008, with the filming commencing in 2010 only, following several delays. Cinematography was handled by Vijay Milton, while guitarist R. Karthik Subbaraj is an Indian film director, writer and producer working mainly in Tamil cinema. Life and career Karthik did his schooling in SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Madurai after which he went on to study Mechatronics at Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
