''So Good'' is the debut album by British recording artist Mica Paris. It was released on 1 August 1988 by 4th & B'way Records. The album was a commercial success, peaking at number six on the UK Albums Chart and also appearing stateside on the ''Billboard'' 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. ''So Good'' was certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), denoting shipments of over 300,000 copies in the UK. Four singles were released from the album, all of which reached the top-thirty of the UK Singles Chart. Michelle Antoinette Wallen (born 27 April 1969), known professionally as Mica Paris (), is an English singer, presenter and actress. Paris was born in Islington in North London, but moved to Brockley, South London, when she was nine. She released her debut album, '' So Good'', in 1988, which spawned singles including " My One Temptation" and " Where Is the Love". James Masterton (born 2 September 1973) is a music writer and columnist, his work focusing on the UK Singles Chart having been an online fixture on various sites since the 1990s. Masterton is also a producer for talkSPORT, and has worked on air as a presenter at the Bradford independent local radio station the Pulse. Wilfred "Will" Downing (born November 29, 1963) is an American singer and songwriter. He is married to singer Audrey Wheeler, who was a member of the R&B group Unlimited Touch. Biography Downing enrolled in Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, New York. Alumni of the school include record label executives Clive Davis (who founded Arista Records), Kedar Massenburg (who later became president of Motown), Stephanie Mills and singer Barbra Streisand.
