Rudolph Gerhardus Snyman (born 29 January 1995) is a South African professional rugby union player who currently plays for the South Africa national team and Irish province Munster in the United Rugby Championship. His regular position is lock. Snyman was part of the South Africa team that won a record-equalling third Rugby World Cup in 2019. Andries Hendrik Snyman (born 2 February 1974) is a South African rugby union former player and current coach. His usual position was inside centre, but he had success on the wing at international level. Snyman earned 38 test caps for the South Africa national rugby union team, before retiring from playing in 2007. Snyman has been coaching rugby in the United States since 2011. Playing career Snyman was born in Newcastle, South Africa. Snyman made his Springbok debut in 1996 against the All Blacks in Durban. Robin Roy Snyman
The Reverend Canon Robin Roy Snyman was a priest in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, who served as Dean of Kimberley and rector of St Cyprian’s Cathedral, and afterwards was Vice-Provost at the Cathedral Church of St Mary the Virgin, Port Elizabeth. He was born at Waterval Boven, in what is now Mpumalanga in 1934. He died in Port Elizabeth on 15 September 2020. Early career Snyman was educated at Pretoria Boys' High School, going on to obtain a Licentiate in Theology through the Church of the Province of Southern Africa. Philippus Albertus Borman Snyman (born 26 March 1987) is a South African rugby union footballer. He is the current captain of South Africa's National Rugby 7s Team, Blitzbokke. Gerrie Snyman (born 30 April 1981) is a Namibian former cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He played five One Day Internationals in the Cricket World Cup in 2003, and also played in the 2005 ICC Trophy. He has also played List A cricket and first-class cricket. Dana Snyman is a South African journalist, writer and playwright. Snyman was born in Stellenbosch and matriculated from Nylstroom High School. He later followed a journalism course at the Pretoria Technikon before joining the Afrikaans newspaper Beeld as a crime reporter. Three years later he became a journalist at Huisgenoot magazine, where he worked for ten years. As of 2007, Snyman is the travel editor of Weg! magazine.
