Snook (band)
Snook () is a Swedish rap group from Stockholm. The group consists of Oskar "Kihlen" Linnros and Daniel "Danne" Adams-Ray. The group often makes fun of traditional rap and tries to reinvent it. They have released two full-length albums and several singles. In the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen, they won the award for Best Swedish Act. Linnros and Adams-Ray met in high school, Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium Odenplan. They formed ''Snook'' (snok is a Swedish slang term for "nose") in 2000. The group's first single ''1990 nånting'' (Eng: "1990 something"), featuring Afasi & Filthy, became a big hit in Sweden. They were critically acclaimed because of their different sound as compared to the general Swedish hip-hop. John Michael Green (born August 24, 1977) is an American author, YouTube content creator, podcaster, and philanthropist. Emerging in the first half of the 1980s, Swedish hip hop originated in the cities of Stockholm and Malmö. Early on, most rappers in Sweden performed in English. Petter Askergren
Petter Alexis Askergren, (born 25 May 1974), who simply uses his given name Petter as a stage name, is a rap artist from Stockholm, Sweden, rapping in Swedish. He debuted in 1998 with the album ''Mitt sjätte sinne'' (My Sixth Sense), which became a success and started the Swedish hip hop boom in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He owns a record company called Bananrepubliken ( en, The Banana Republic). He also studied art history at Uppsala University for some time. He has also worked with the famous Norwegian rap producer Tommy Tee several times in his career. Veronica Sandra Karin Maggio (born 15 March 1981) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Born to an Italian father and a Swedish mother, Maggio was raised in Uppsala. After studying music and being the lead member of a band, Maggio released her debut single, " Dumpa mig" in 2006 under Universal Music. Her debut album, '' Vatten och bröd'' (2006), proved to be commercial success and resulted in Maggio winning a Grammi for "Årets nykomling" (Newcomer of the Year). Since her debut, Maggio has released five more albums under Universal, with four of them topping the charts in Sweden. Additionally, 26 of her songs have become top-20 hits in Sweden.
