Karey Kirkpatrick is an American screenwriter, film director, and producer. His films include Chicken Run, ''The Rescuers Down Under'', ''James and the Giant Peach,'' ''Over the Hedge'', ''The Spiderwick Chronicles'', '' Charlotte's Web'', and ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.''
