''Slay In Your Lane'' is a series of books and a podcast by journalist Yomi Adegoke and brand strategist Elizabeth Uviebinené. The first book in the series, ''Slay In Your Lane: The Black Girl Bible'' (2018), is based on interviews the pair conducted with "39 successful black British women spanning different industries". ''The Daily Telegraph'' described it as "one of the most satisfying attempts in recent years to answer the question: why do black British women feel that their success is hindered?" Yomi Adegoke
Yomi Adegoke (born 25 September 1991) is a British journalist and author. Early life and education Adegoke is of Nigerian heritage. She was born in Canning Town, east London, and raised in Croydon. She attended the University of Warwick and studied law. Her sister, Yemisi Adegoke, is a journalist for BBC Africa. She took a year out of university and in 2013 she founded ''Birthday Magazine'', a publication aimed at black teenage girls. The magazine discussed race, pop culture and feminism. Margaret Ebunoluwa Aderin-Pocock (; born 9 March 1968) is a British space scientist and science educator.
