Slaughter (album)
''Slaughter'' is the debut solo studio album by American rapper and record producer Young Wicked of Axe Murder Boyz. It was released on September 4, 2015 via Psychopathic Records. It features guest appearances from Anybody Killa, Bonez Dubb and JellyRoll. The album peaked at #37 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at #23 on the Heatseekers Albums in the United States. Background When ''Reindeer Games'' was released, the booklet inside revealed that Young Wicked would release his debut album ''Slaughter'' "soon". At the 2015 Gathering of the Juggalos, Young Wicked announced that he began recording the album on the ShockFest Tour ( Insane Clown Posse, Da Mafia 6ix, Mushroomhead, JellyRoll, Madchild and guest Big Hoodoo) with the song "Dope" on the tour bus. Also at the GOTJ he said that the album was done. In August 2015 Psychopathic Records released the ''Slaughter Sampler'' as well as preorders for the album. Joseph William Utsler (; born October 14, 1974), known by his stage name Shaggy 2 Dope, is an American rapper, record producer, DJ, podcast host of Shaggy and The Creep Show, and professional wrestler. He is part of the hip hop duo Insane Clown Posse. Shane Bunting (born October 21, 1975), better known by his stage name Madchild, is a Canadian rapper. He is part of the Vancouver-based hip hop group Swollen Members. Three 6 Mafia is an American hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee, formed in 1991. Emerging as a horror-themed underground hip hop group, they would eventually go on to enjoy mainstream success. The Gathering of the Juggalos (The Gathering or GOTJ) is an annual festival put on by Psychopathic Records, featuring performances by the entire label roster as well as numerous well-known musical groups and underground artists. It was founded by Jumpsteady, Insane Clown Posse ( Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler), and their label in 2000. Described by Joseph Bruce as a "Juggalo Woodstock" ( Juggalo being a nickname for fans of the Insane Clown Posse), the Gathering of the Juggalos spans five days and includes concerts, wrestling, games, contests, autograph sessions, karaoke, and seminars with artists.
