Sky Target
is a 1995 arcade game by Sega. A rail shooter featuring a number of planes including the default F-14D Super Tomcat, it is best remembered for its semi-official connection to Sega's earlier hit ''After Burner''. Although never billed as a sequel, its overt similarities to the 1987 classic were nonetheless referenced in official promotional materials and recognized by the media. Plus, it features a revised version of the "After Burner" music theme within its soundtrack. In 1997, ''Sky Target'' was ported to Sega Saturn by external developer Appaloosa Interactive. The port retains the gameplay of the original but has completely redone cutscenes, a difficulty select option, and a new Ranking Mode. is a combat flight video game developed and published by Sega. The game is a part of the ''After Burner'' series, and was first released in arcades in 2006 and was later released digitally to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in April 2010. Like previous incarnations of ''After Burner'', the "Deluxe" ''After Burner: Climax'' cabinet has a servo-equipped chair; a new function is a button that locks the chair into a static upright position. Two other cabinet versions include a "Commander" version, which only tilts side to side, and the "Standard" version, which doesn't move at all. The "Deluxe" version cabinet has a widescreen LCD monitor, while the "Standard" and "Commander" models have a 29" CRT. The digital version was delisted from both Xbox Live and PlayStation Store in December 2014, and was removed from the mobile storefronts in May 2015. The McDonnell Douglas F-15 STOL/MTD (Short Takeoff and Landing/Maneuver Technology Demonstrator) is a modified F-15 Eagle. Developed as a technology demonstrator, the F-15 STOL/MTD carried out research for studying the effects of thrust vectoring and enhanced maneuverability. The aircraft used for the project was pre-production TF-15A (F-15B) No. 1 (USAF S/N 71-0290), the first two-seat F-15 Eagle built by McDonnell Douglas (out of 2 prototypes), the sixth F-15 off the assembly line, and was the oldest F-15 flying up to its retirement. The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force (USAF).
