Skipp Townsend
Skipp Townsend is an American gang expert from Los Angeles, California. For 27 years, he was a member of the Bloods gang; his first arrest came at age 13. Townsend was raised in South Los Angeles. He attended a Catholic elementary school and went on to attend Dorsey High School, dropping out in his junior year. The Bloods are a primarily African-American street gang founded in Los Angeles, California. The gang is widely known for its rivalry with the Crips. It is identified by the red color worn by its members and by particular gang symbols, including distinctive hand signs.
