''Skin'' is the second studio album by Australian electronic musician Flume. It was released on 27 May 2016 by Future Classic. The album was Flume's second full-length release following his self-titled debut in 2012. It features guest appearances from Kai, Vic Mensa, Kučka, Tove Lo, Vince Staples, Allan Kingdom, Raekwon, Little Dragon, AlunaGeorge, MNDR, and Beck. ''Skin'' received generally positive reviews and debuted at number one on the Australian Albums Chart, also peaking at number eight on the US ''Billboard'' 200. The album was named Album of the Year at the 2016 ARIA Music Awards. It also won the Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Harley Edward Streten (born 5 November 1991), known professionally as Flume, is an Australian DJ and music producer. He is regarded as a pioneer of future bass who helped popularise the genre. His self-titled debut studio album, ''Flume'', was released in 2012 to positive reviews, topping the ARIA Albums Chart and reaching double-platinum accreditation in Australia. Flume has remixed songs from such artists as Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude and Disclosure. His second studio album, ''Skin'', was released in 2016, again topping the ARIA Albums Chart. Kai (Canadian Singer)
Alessia De Gasperis (born 17 March 1990), formerly known as Kai (also stylized as kai), is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. Best known for her collaborations, she co-wrote and was featured on Flume's Grammy-nominated " Never Be like You", Diplo's "Revolution", and "Mind" from by Jack Ü's Grammy award-winning 2015 album. Early life and education Alessia De Gasperis-Brigante attended Bishop Strachan School, notable for its various alumni, including actress Laurie Holden. Little Dragon are a Swedish electronic music band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1996. Corey Woods (born January 12, 1970), better known by his stage name Raekwon The Chef, or simply Raekwon (), is an American rapper.
