The Merseyside Skeptics Society (MSS) is a nonprofit organisation that promotes scientific scepticism in Merseyside and the United Kingdom. Founded in 2009, the society has campaigned against the use of homeopathy, challenged the claims of psychics, and hosts regular events in Liverpool, podcasts, and an annual conference in Manchester, QED: Question. Chris French
Christopher Charles French (born 1956) is a British psychologist specialising in the psychology of paranormal beliefs and experiences, cognition and emotion. He is the head of the University of London's anomalistic Psychology Research Unit and appears regularly in the media as an expert on testing paranormal claims. Career After French completed his PhD he taught adult education classes in which he also addressed astrology and extrasensory perception. Evan Harris
Evan Leslie Harris (born 21 October 1965) is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Oxford West and Abingdon from 1997 to 2010, losing his seat in the 2010 general election by 176 votes to Conservative Nicola Blackwood. David Morris Aaronovitch (born 8 July 1954) is an English journalist, television presenter and author. Climate Change
In common usage, climate change describes global warming—the ongoing increase in global average temperature—and its effects on Earth's climate system. Cynicism is an attitude characterized by a general distrust of the motives of "others". Michael "Marsh" Marshall (born 13 August 1983) is a British skeptical activist, freelance journalist, public speaker, podcaster, author, blogger and, since September 2020, the editor of '' The Skeptic'' magazine.
