Sixten Boström
Sixten Boström (born 15 September 1963) is a Finnish Association football, soccer Manager (association football), coach and former midfielder, who most recently served as the head coach of Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho, SJK. Previously, he worked as an assistant coach under Gregg Berhalter for Columbus Crew SC, Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer after being hired in February 2015. Together, they reached the MLS Cup in MLS Cup 2015, 2015. Early life and career Boström was born in Helsinki to a Swedish-speaking population of Finland, Swedish-speaking family. The Columbus Crew, formerly known as Columbus Crew SC, is an American professional soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. The Crew competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference and began play in 1996 as one of the 10 charter clubs of the league. Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi (), commonly known as HJK Helsinki, or simply as HJK, is a professional football club based in Helsinki, Finland. The club competes in the Finnish Veikkausliiga. MLS Cup 2015 was the 20th edition of the MLS Cup, the championship game of Major League Soccer (MLS). The soccer match was to determine the champion of MLS' 2015 season. The championship was contested on December 6, 2015 between the Columbus Crew SC and the Portland Timbers at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, with the latter winning 2–1 and earning a berth into the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League. Gregg Matthew Berhalter (, ; born August 1, 1973) is an American soccer coach and former player. He is also the current head coach of the United States men's national soccer team. Berhalter previously coached Columbus Crew SC in Major League Soccer, Hammarby IF in Sweden, and served as an assistant coach for LA Galaxy.
