Sita (singer)
Sita Maria Vermeulen (born 8 June 1980), known by the mononym Sita, is a Dutch pop singer, actress and tv personality. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as part of the pop group K-otic. After leaving the band in 2001, she had a brief solo career before turning to television, where she was featured primarily on children's television and was a candidate on '' Sterren Dansen Op Het IJs'', the Dutch adaption of '' Dancing on Ice'' as well as the Dutch version of '' Dancing With The Stars''. Since 2009, she has been hosting the Dutch Disney Channel. Ilpendam
Ilpendam is a village in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies about 4 km south of Purmerend. It covers an area of 2.46 km2 (0.95 sq mi) and had 1,780 inhabitants in 2008. Ilpendam was part of the Free and high Lordship of Purmerend, Purmerland and Ilpendam. History The village was first mentioned in 1408 as Ypeldamme, and means "dam in the Ilp river". Ilpendam developed in the 12th century at the mouth of the Ilp as a linear settlement. Stephanie Kay Bentley (born April 29, 1963) is an American country music artist. She made her debut in 1996 as a duet partner on Ty Herndon's single "Heart Half Empty", which peaked at No. 21 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Kyo is a French rock band with lead by Benoît Poher. The band was active from 1997 to 2005 with three albums ''Kyo'' (2000), '' Le Chemin'' (2003) and ''300 Lésions'' (2004) and a string of singles. It announced a hiatus in 2005 without a definite break-up. In 2006, Kyo was involved in launching " L'Or de nos vies" written by Kyo and its lead singer Benoît Poher for the Fighting AIDS charity in 2006. "Le Chemin" is a 2002 song recorded by French band Kyo in duet with Dutch pop singer Sita. It was the first single from the album '' Le Chemin'' on which it appears as the first track, and was later notably included on Kyo's 2004 compilation ''Best of'' and on ''NRJ Music Awards 2003''. Written and composed by Kyo, the single was released in November 2002 and achieved some success.
