''Sisters of Pearl'' (Traditional Chinese: (掌上明珠) is a 2010 TVB pre-modern drama series, starring Jessica Hsuan, Michael Tao, and Bowie Lam. Synopsis After the death of her husband, Chu Pik-Ha (Jessica Hsuan) returns to her maiden home with her son, in a deliberate attempt to take over the family jewelry business from her elder sister Chu Pik-Wan (Kiki Sheung). To prevent Ha from getting too out of hand, Wan needs her husband Ho Cheung-Hing (Bowie Lam) to create trouble for her sibling. Hing does not follow her instructions, but instead secretly helps Ha tackle her problems one by one. Wan soon comes to realize that Hing has never really got over Ha. Wan's younger sister Chu Pik-Lam (Macy Chan) is still attending school and is too young to deal with such family issues. Jessica Hsuan
Jessica Hester Hsuan (; PA: syn hyn, also known as Suen Huen, is a Hong Kong actress. Early life Hsuan's father gave her the name Jessica, while her mother gave her the middle name Hester. She was educated in Hong Kong at Maryknoll Convent School for primary education and at Pooi To Middle School. She later boarded at Roedean School in Britain. Hsuan graduated with a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from Imperial College London in 1992. Career Hsuan started her career in late 1992 and early 1993. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. HotCha is a former Hong Kong cantopop trio group presented by Neway Star Entertainment. The members include Regen Cheung ( 張惠雅), Crystal Cheung ( 張紋嘉), and Winkie Lai ( 黎美言). The group debuted on April 4, 2007 and disbanded in 2014. Myolie Wu Hang-yee (born 6 November 1979) is a Hong Kong actress and singer. She is previously managed by Hong Kong TVB television station and Neway Star. Michael Tao
Michael Tao Dai Yu (, born 26 August 1963) is a Hong Kong television actor. Career Tao entered the acting industry in the 1980s, affiliating with TVB. It was during this period that Tao earned the name "Housewife Killer" due to his overwhelming popularity amongst housewives (who arguably constitute a majority of television viewing audiences in Hong Kong), solidifying his position as a first tier television actor in TVB. Tao later moved over to rival ATV in 1997 after problems over his contract with TVB. His ATV series Flaming Brothers defeated the TVB rival show at the time, a landmark for ATV. Lily Leung Shun-Yin (; 7 January 1929 – 13 August 2019) was a Hong Kong actress. Born in Hong Kong Leung attended Belilios Public School. Career Leung started her acting career in 1957.
