Michael Tao
Michael Tao Dai Yu (, born 26 August 1963) is a Hong Kong television actor. Career Tao entered the acting industry in the 1980s, affiliating with TVB. It was during this period that Tao earned the name "Housewife Killer" due to his overwhelming popularity amongst housewives (who arguably constitute a majority of television viewing audiences in Hong Kong), solidifying his position as a first tier television actor in TVB. Tao later moved over to rival ATV in 1997 after problems over his contract with TVB. His ATV series Flaming Brothers defeated the TVB rival show at the time, a landmark for ATV. Apart from filming ATV series, Tao has also filmed in China and Singapore. He returned to TVB in 2004 and has starred in a number of television series since. Once again, problems with his contract resulted in Tao leaving TVB in 2009 and worked mostly in mainland China and occasionally in Hong Kong. The File of Justice (壹號皇庭) is a series of Hong Kong legal drama produced by TVB. There were 5 seasons produced, the first was aired in 1992 spanning 13 episodes. The series revolves around a group of lawyers and legal personnel with stories interwoven between their personal lives and the court cases (usually one that involves murder) in which they're engaged. It was also noteworthy that first 2 murder cases in the first series ended in capital punishment because it was not abolished in Hong Kong until 1993, yet the last punishment carried out was back in 1966. Shine on You () is a drama series produced by Hong Kong broadcaster TVB and was first aired from September 13 to October 22, 2004 in the prime time 8:00 to 9:00 pm slot. Consisting of 30 episodes it was produced by Mui Siu Ching and featured a cast consisting of amongst others Bobby Au Yeung, Kenix Kwok and Michael Tao.
