Sirutar ( ne, सिरुटार) is a town located in Bhaktapur District . It comes under Suryabinayak Municipality. Sirutar is a town and is situated in ward 1 of Suryabinayak Municipality in Bhaktapur District in Province no 3 of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 4,598 in it. Sirutar extends from East to west in the Southern territory of Bhaktapur district. This town resembles "P" shape of the English alphabet. It is almost 4 km from Bhaktapur nagar and is 9 km from the Kathmandu city. Sirutar is situated about 1,300 meters above the sea level. This town lies in between Bhaktapur and Lalitpur district. Dadhikot lies in the east of this, Balkot and Tikathali in the west, Dadhikot and Balkot in the North, and Lamatar, Lubhu and Tikathali in the South. Balkot, Bhaktapur
Balkot ( ne, बालकोट) is located in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Provience of central Nepal. In 2015, it was merged with Sirutar, Gundu and Dadhikot to form Anantalingeshowr Municipality. Suryabinayak Municipality
Suryabinayak Municipality ( ne, सुर्यविनायक नगरपालिका) is a city in Bagmati Province in Central Nepal. It is the largest city of Bhaktapur district with a population of 137,971 with 23,637 households. It was created in December 2014 through the merger of the Village development committees of Kautunje (the municipality's centre), Sipadol, Nankhel and Chitpol. The municipality's name stems from the local Suryavinayak Temple. In March 2017, under new local level restructuring, Suryabinayak Municipality was expanded to include the neighboring municipality of Anantalingeshwor, adding four more previous VDCs of Sirutar, Gundu, Dadhikot and Balkot. Lubhu, Lalitpur
Lubhu (Nepal Bhasa: लुभू) is a place that is part of Mahalaxmi Municipality in Bagmati Province of central Nepal. Lubhu is a sub-urban Newar place situated seven kilometers east of Kathmandu in northern part of Lalitpur, Nepal. Etymology There are interesting folklores explaining how Lubhu, which in Newari means “Golden Plate” got its name. It is believed that there was a homosexual resident who worshipped Maha Laksmi and Gobhrateshwar Mahadev to resolve his confused sexual orientation. After three years of devoted worship, the Gods were finally happy and granted the worshipper the body of a “complete man”. Knowing no bounds for his happiness upon this, the devotee is said to have offered both the deities plates made of gold, and hence named the place “Lunbhu”, meaning the same.
