Sir Nicholas Mander, 4th Baronet
Sir Charles Nicholas Mander, 4th Baronet (born 23 March 1950) is a British baronet, historian and businessman. Biography He is the elder son of Charles Marcus Mander, 3rd baronet of The Mount, by Maria Dolores (d. 2007), née Brödermann, of Hamburg, whom he succeeded in 2006. He was educated at Downside School, Trinity College, Cambridge (senior scholar), and Grenoble University. He is a Knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, a liveryman of the Fishmongers' Company and a Companion of the Guild of St George. He has owned the Tudor manor house at Owlpen Manor in Gloucestershire with its associated estate since 1974, where he has opened the house to the public. A baronet ( or ; abbreviated Bart or Bt) or the female equivalent, a baronetess (, , or ; abbreviation Btss), is the holder of a baronetcy, a hereditary title awarded by the British Crown. The title of baronet is mentioned as early as the 14th century, however in its current usage was created by James VI and I, James I of England in 1611 as a means of raising funds for the crown. Katherine Anandi Rowe is an American scholar of Renaissance literature and media history. She was named the twenty-eighth president of the College of William & Mary on February 20, 2018. Simon Verity
Simon Verity (born 1945) is a British sculptor and master stonecarver. Much of his work has been garden sculpture. He has works in the private collections of King Charles III, Sir Elton John, and Lord Rothschild. Career Verity received his training through an informal apprenticeship to Oliver Hill and through Robert Baker's teaching at Wells Cathedral. A 1988 memorial by Verity for the writer Sophie Behrens was the catalyst for the creation of ''Memorials by Artists'', an organization dedicated to the creation of unique memorials. Norman Jewson
Norman Jewson (12 February 1884 – 28 August 1975) was an English architect-craftsman of the Arts and Crafts movement, who practised in the Cotswolds. He was a distinguished, younger member of the group which had settled in Sapperton, Gloucestershire, a village in rural southwest England, under the influence of Ernest Gimson. Surviving into old age, he brought their ideas and working methods into the second half of the twentieth century. His book of reminiscences has become established as a minor classic of the English Arts and Crafts movement. His repair of the Tudor Owlpen Manor in 1925–26 is often regarded as his most representative and successful work.
