Sinbreed
Sinbreed is a German Christian metal band who play power metal, formed in 2005 in Wiesbaden. Biography Sinbreed was founded as Neoshine, and made it to release three demos under that name, but was forced to change to Sinbreed in order to avoid legal issues with an homonymous American company. Their debut album ''When Worlds Collide'' was released in March 2010 and featured keyboardists Morten Sandager (Pretty Maids, Mercenary) and Joost van den Broek (After Forever), guitarists Oliver Lohmann and Andreas Iancu, and singer Thomas Rettke (Redkey, ex- Heaven's Gate). In November 2012, Blind Guardian guitarist Marcus Siepen, who was already a session member of the band, joined them as a full-time member. The band's second full-length album, ''Shadows'', was set to be released by the end of 2013, but the date was postponed to sometime March 2014 after they signed with AFM Records. Marcus Siepen
Marcus Siepen (born 8 September 1968) is a German guitarist, best known as the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist of power metal band Blind Guardian. For the biggest percentage of Blind Guardian's songs, particularly in more recent years, he has almost strictly played rhythm guitar, with most lead and solo work being performed by André Olbrich. He has also been part of the band Sinbreed and live member of Demons & Wizards. Personal life Siepen is divorced and has a son from his first marriage. He has since remarried. Growing up in a Roman Catholic family, Siepen claims to not be religious, and that he doesn't believe in God. Seventh Avenue (band)
Seventh Avenue was a Christian metal band from Wolfsburg, Germany, formed in 1989. Consisting of guitarist/vocalist Herbie Langhans, guitarist Florian Gottsleben, bassist Markus Beck, and drummer Mike Pflüger, Seventh Avenue played a hybrid style of speed and power metal with a focus on melodies. They released six albums and two EPs. The band launched a demo titled ''First Strike'' in 1993, but the loss of their guitarist delayed their first album, ''Rainbowland'', until 1995. They then signed with Treasure Hunt Records. Their first release on this label, ''Tales of Tales'', topped at No. 18 on the Japanese heavy metal charts. ProgPower USA is a progressive and power metal festival held annually in the United States since 2001. Its upcoming edition, ProgPower USA XXI is scheduled to take place on June 1–4, 2022. The festival's band selection process focuses on quality over quantity. In addition to the emphasis on the power and progressive metal genres, the festival has branched out into other genres with the inclusion of the "oddball" slot that doesn't fit the normal motif. A metal (from Greek μέταλλον ''métallon'', "mine, quarry, metal") is a material that, when freshly prepared, polished, or fractured, shows a lustrous appearance, and conducts electricity and heat relatively well.
