Simone Del Tintore
Simone del Tintore (1630–1708) was an Italian painter, active in his native Lucca. He is mainly known as a still-life painter but he may also have painted religious subjects.Franco Moro. He trained at the 'Academy of Painting and Drawing of Lucca', which had been established by the local artist Pietro Paolini. Paolini had trained in Rome where he had become closely linked to the followers of Caravaggio. The Academy contributed to a particularly lively artistic environment in Lucca in the second half of the 17th century. Tommaso Salini
Tommaso Salini (1575 – 13 September 1625), also known as Mao Salini, was an Italian painter of the early-Baroque period, active in Rome. He is best remembered for defending his friend, Giovanni Baglione, in his libel suit against Caravaggio and other painters in his circle. Filippo Gherardi
Filippo Gherardi (1643–1704) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. Born in Lucca, he was mostly active in Venice and Rome, where he became a member of the large studio of Pietro da Cortona, often working closely with Giovanni Coli. With Coli, Gherardi was initially a trainee of Pietro Paolini in Lucca. One of his masterpieces are the ceiling frescoes in the Palazzo Colonna in Rome, celebrating the participation of a family member in the ''Battle of Lepanto''. In Venice, Coli and Gherardi also completed frescoes (1670–72) of the dome of the church of ''San Nicolò da Tolentino'' with a fresco of the ''Glory of San Nicola'' and in the church of San Pantalon. Giovanni Coli (1636–1691) was an Italian painter from Lucca, active in the Baroque style. He trained with Pietro Paolini in Lucca and then moved to Rome to work under Pietro da Cortona.
