Simon Law
Simon Law (born 28 May 1961, in Luton, England) is a producer, keyboardist and songwriter for Soul II Soul. Career Law is an original member of Soul II Soul. The band had a #1 UK hit single with "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)", where he appeared in one of the song's two music videos, and a Top 10 hit with " Keep On Movin'". The band were awarded two Grammys for the songs "Back to Life" and the instrumental "African Dance", both of which Law co-wrote. He worked on all subsequent Soul II Soul albums apart from ''Volume III Just Right'', producing and co-writing many of the band's other UK hit singles, including "Missing You", "Love Enuff" and "Represent". He performs with the band regularly to this day and was on the Jools Holland show '' Later'' in November 2012. Luton
Luton () is a town and unitary authority with borough status, in Bedfordshire, England. At the 2011 census, the Luton built-up area subdivision had a population of 211,228 and its built-up area, including the adjacent towns of Dunstable and Houghton Regis, had a population of 258,018. It is the most populous town in the county, from the County Towns of Hertford, from Bedford and from London. The town is situated on the River Lea, about north-north-west of London. The town's foundation dates to the sixth century as a Saxon outpost on the River Lea, from which Luton derives its name. Luton is recorded in the Domesday Book as ''Loitone'' and ''Lintone'' and one of the largest churches in Bedfordshire, St Mary's Church, was built in the 12th century. Chanté Moore
Chanté Torrane Moore (born February 17, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, television personality, and author. Rising to fame in the early 1990s, Moore established herself as an R&B singer. Her debut studio album '' Precious'' was released in 1992. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on November 14, 1994, in the United States, spawning such R&B hits as " Love's Taken Over" and " It's Alright". Released in 1994, her second album, ''A Love Supreme'', did not achieve the same success as her debut album. In 1999, her third album, '' This Moment Is Mine'', was released. Max Alfred "Maxi" Elliott (born 10 June 1961), known by his stage name Maxi Priest, is a British reggae vocalist of Jamaican descent. He is best known for singing reggae music with an R&B influence, otherwise known as reggae fusion. He was one of the first international artists to have success in this genre, and one of the most successful reggae fusion acts of all time. Early life Maxi Priest was born in Lewisham, London, the second youngest of nine siblings. Bedfordshire (; abbreviated Beds) is a ceremonial county in the East of England.
