Simba Sithole (footballer Born 1989)
Simbarashe "Simba" Sithole (born 5 May 1989 in Masvingo) is a Zimbabwean footballer. He plays for the Zimbabwe national team. Career Club Sithole began his career in Zimbabwe with How Mine, before subsequently joining Monomotapa United, Railstars and Hippo Valley. After spells with the aforementioned three clubs, Sithole rejoined How Mine. His return to How Mine led to a move to South African football. Firstly, a trial with AmaZulu in 2013 and then a permanent transfer to Ajax Cape Town in January 2014. Eight months later he left Ajax to return to Zimbabwe to play for Highlanders, however he left the Bulawayo-based club soon after. A short stint with Bulawayo City followed. International In January 2014, coach Ian Gorowa, invited him to be a part of the Zimbabwe squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship. Masvingo
Masvingo is a city in south-eastern Zimbabwe and the capital of Masvingo Province. The city is situated close to Great Zimbabwe, the national monument from which the country takes its name and close to Lake Mutirikwi, its recreational park, the Kyle dam and the Kyle National Reserve where there are many different animal species. It is mostly populated by the Karanga people who form the biggest branch of the various Shona tribes in Zimbabwe. History The city was known as Fort Victoria until 1982, when its name was briefly changed to Nyanda, after a mountain about 10 kilometres south of the town, on the Masvingo to Beitbridge Road. Ian Gorowa
Ian Kuziva Gorowa Dibango (born 16 November 1971) is a former Zimbabwean footballer, formerly managing South African Premier Soccer League side Moroka Swallows. Playing days Ian 'Dibango' Gorowa came to South Africa after playing for Dynamos and Black Rhinos in his native country. He joined the now defunct Cape Town Spurs where he made a name for himself as an attacking winger. Unfortunately, his playing days came to an abrupt end at the relatively young age of 29 when he suffered a career-ending injury while playing for Spurs. He represented the Zimbabwean national team 26 times and scored 11 goals in the process. He played for Zimbabwe at the 1998 COSAFA Cup. Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League
Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League is the top professional division of the Zimbabwe Football Association. It was founded in 1980, as a successor to the 1962 formed ''Rhodesia National Football League.'' It is currently sponsored by Delta Beverages under the Castle Lager brand and hence is known as Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. The current sponsorship deal runs from 2011 and is worth $3.6 million. The league consists of 18 teams listed below, that play a total of 34 matches. The season runs from April to November. Most matches are played during weekends on Saturdays and Sundays. Postponed matches are played midweek. The Cape Town Stadium ( af, Kaapstad-stadion; xh, Inkundla yezemidlalo yaseKapa) is an association football (soccer) and rugby union stadium in Cape Town, South Africa, that was built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Simbarashe "Simba" Nhivi Sithole (born January 10, 1991), commonly known as Simba Nhivi, is a Zimbabwean footballer who plays as a striker for Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side Dynamos and the Zimbabwe national team. Career Club Nhivi's career started in Zimbabwe with Shooting Stars, he left Shooting Stars in 2011 to join CAPS United. His move to CAPS Utd led to a transfer outside his homeland for the first time as he agreed to join Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns. However, Nhivi's spell with the Sundowns was unsuccessful as he left in 2012 without making a single appearance. His next move was back to Zimbabwe to join Dynamos, a year later he left for South Africa again but this time joined SuperSport United.
