Silvia Fuselli
Silvia Fuselli (born in Cecina, July 1, 1981) is an Italian footballer who currently plays as a striker for Fimauto Valpolicella in Serie A. She has also played for Agliana, Torino, Torres, Verona and Brescia, and she has been a member of the Italian national team. She debuted with the Italian national team on March 29, 2006 in a qualifying match for the 2007 World Cup against Greece. She scored 3 goals at the 2007 Algarve Cup and contributed to Italy's qualification for the Euro 2009 with 2 goals throughout the qualification stage, subsequently playing 24 minutes in two matches in Finland. Cecina, Tuscany
Cecina () is a ''comune'' (municipality) of 28,322 inhabitants in the Province of Livorno in the Italian region Tuscany, located about southwest of Florence and about southeast of Livorno. The territory of Cecina borders the following municipalities: Bibbona, Casale Marittimo, Castellina Marittima, Guardistallo, Montescudaio, Riparbella, Rosignano Marittimo. An archaeological park close to the town houses the remains of a Roman villa from the 1st century BC. History A settlement was founded here by the Roman consul Albinus Caecina, who was a descendant of an ancient Etruscan family. After the fall of the Western Roman Empire, the territory suffered a long period of decline, which only came to an end when the Grand Duke Leopold II of Tuscany began to develop local agriculture. The Italy Women's Cup was an Italian invitational women's football competition organized by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti confronting the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranking teams in the Serie A Femminile, the Italian Women's Cup champion or runner-up and several foreign clubs. Established in 2003, it intended to develop itself into the UEFA Cup's female counterpart but it was never recognized by UEFA. Five editions were carried out until 2008 before it was discontinued. The 2011–12 Serie A di calcio femminile was the 45th edition of the premier category of the Italian women's football championship. It ran from 8 October 2011 to 26 May 2012 and it was contested by fourteen teams, with FCF Como 2000, ACF Milan and ASD Riviera di Romagna joining the competition. ASD Torres Calcio won its third title in a row and a record overall sixth with a two points advantage over ASDCF Bardolino, which also qualified for the 2012-13 UEFA Champions League. Previous season's runner-up UPC Tavagnacco and Brescia followed in the table at two and four points from Champions League qualification. ACF Venezia 1984, Milan and GS Roma CF were relegated. The 2010-11 Serie A was the 44th edition of the premier category of the Italian women's football championship. It was won by defending champion Torres, which won all matches except for a tie against Brescia. With this trophy Torres reached Lazio, which narrowly avoided relegation, as the most successful team in the Serie A with five titles. 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones.
