"Silly Boy" is a song recorded by Dutch recording artist Eva Simons, released as her debut single on 14 August 2009 by EMI, EMI Music Germany. Background The song was recorded by Simons and producer Tearce "Kizzo" Keaz in August 2008. In April 2009 the electropop track "Silly Boy" was leaked onto YouTube. Simons said in an interview that at the time of the leak she was devastated, but later became thankful for its helping the track gain exposure. However, in an earlier interview she said, "At first I was happy because it was cool to hear my song on the internet," but then she considered the difficulties of getting credit for it.
