Sidarka Núñez
Sidarka de los Milagros Núñez (born June 25, 1984) is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who played for the Women's National Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. There her team ended up in fifth place. She claimed the gold medal at the 2008 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup in Mexico, where she was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Núñez also won the 2013 Peruvian League Championship with Universidad César Vallejo, winning the season's Best Spiker award and the silver medal in the 2013 South American Club Championship. Career Playing with her National Junior Team, Núñez won the silver medal at the 2002 NORCECA Junior Championship. In 2007-08 she played for Japanese volleyball team Ageo Medics. Playing the next season (2008/2009) for the Hitachi Sawa Rivale. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. Mirador Volleyball
The Mirador Sport and Cultural Center or simply Mirador is a women's volleyball club, based in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic. History The team was found 1970. With the help of Cosiri Rodríguez, who became the "Most Valuable Player" at the 2004 Distrito Nacional Superior Tournament, Mirador win the 9th consecutive and 23rd Championship, defeating Los Cachorros in the 7th game of the final series. The team won in 2006 its 24th title at the Distrito Nacional Volleyball Tournament. Liga Nacional Superior De Voleibol
The Liga Nacional Superior de Voleibol (Spanish for ''Senior National Volleyball League'') is the top level Peruvian volleyball competition and it is organized by the Peruvian Volleyball Confederation. There are both men's and women's competitions. The number of participating clubs has been 12 per division since the 2011–12 season. The women's tournament in volleyball at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was the 13th edition of the event in an Olympic Games, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB, in conjunction with the IOC. The 2013 Women's South American Volleyball Club Championship was the fifth official edition of the women's volleyball tournament, played by five teams from 1 – 5 May 2013 in Miraflores, Lima, Peru. History 2012/13 season The team hired the junior female National Team Natalia Malaga and the international Peruvian players Milagros Moy and Verónica Contreras to play along with Dominicans Marianne Fersola and Sidarka Núñez.
