Sibratsgfäll is a municipality in the district of Bregenz in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. Geography Sibratsgfäll is located in the westernmost province of Austria, Vorarlberg, in the district of Bregenz, east of Lake Constance, at an altitude of 929 meters. 46.0% of the area is forested, 34.2% mountainous (Alps). The community is located directly on the border with Germany. There are no other cadastral communities in Sibratsgfäll. The community of Sibratsgfäll borders on two Austrian and two German communities: Hittisau and Egg in the Austrian district of Bregenz, and Balderschwang and Oberstdorf in the Bavarian district of Oberallgäu. Sibratsgfäll is a member of the Austrian-German joint project Naturpark Nagelfluhkette. The Bezirk Bregenz is an administrative district (''Bezirk'') in Vorarlberg, Austria. It comprises the Bregenz Forest region, the Leiblach valley, and the Austrian part of Lake Constance. Nagelfluhkette
The Nagelfluhkette is a mountain range located in Bavaria, Germany and Vorarlberg, Austria, bordering on the northern edge of the Allgäu Alps. It has a maximum altitude of 1,834 m above sea level. Its name derives from the rock type Nagelfluh. In older and geological literature, as well as in the local vernacular language, one also finds the term Hochgratkette. The geotope Nagelfluhkette is the most extensive object of the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park, which was established on 1 January 2008. Location The Nagelfluhkette extends throughout the western part of the Allgäu Alps west of the Illertal, in which the Bavarian cities Sonthofen and Immenstadt lie. Between these cities is Blaichach, from where the mountain range stretches for about 20 km in west-southwest direction to the Vorarlberg community of Hittisau. Schruns
Schruns is a municipality in the Montafon valley (altitude 690 meters), in the Bludenz district of the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. To the west is the famous Zimba mountain, often called the "Vorarlberger Matterhorn," which is very popular among climbers and hikers. Geography The Litz river, a tributary of the Ill river flows through the town. A side valley, the Silbertal, stretches to the east of Schruns.
