Sichuan
Sichuan (; zh, c=, labels=no, ; zh, p=Sìchuān; alternatively romanized as Szechuan or Szechwan; formerly also referred to as "West China" or "Western China" by Protestant missions) is a province in Southwest China occupying most of the Sichuan Basin and the easternmost part of the Tibetan Plateau between the Jinsha River on the west, the Daba Mountains in the north and the Yungui Plateau to the south. Sichuan's capital city is Chengdu. The population of Sichuan stands at 83 million. Sichuan neighbors Qinghai to the northwest, Gansu to the north, Shaanxi to the northeast, Chongqing to the east, Guizhou to the southeast, Yunnan to the south, and the Tibet Autonomous Region to the west. In antiquity, Sichuan was the home of the ancient states of Ba and Shu. Their conquest by Qin strengthened it and paved the way for Qin Shi Huang's unification of China under the Qin dynasty. Shu (Suikoden)
is a role-playing video game developed and published by Konami for the PlayStation video game console and the second installment of the '' Suikoden'' video game series. It was released in late 1998 in Japan, 1999 in North America, and in 2000 in Europe. The game features a vast array of characters, with over 100 recruitable characters, of which over 40 are usable in combat. ''Suikoden II'' takes place 3 years after the events of the original '' Suikoden'' and centers on an invasion of the City-States of Jowston by the Kingdom of Highland. The player controls a silent protagonist who is the adopted son of Genkaku, a hero who saved the City-States of Jowston in a war against Highland years ago. The protagonist and his best friend, Jowy Atreides, each gain one half of the Rune of the Beginning, one of the 27 True Runes of the ''Suikoden'' setting, and become caught up in the intrigues of the invasion and the dark fate of those who bear the halves of that Rune. ''13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim'' is a 2019 video game developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus. It was released for the PlayStation 4 in Japan in November 2019 and worldwide in September 2020, with a Nintendo Switch version released in April 2022. The game is divided between side-scrolling adventure segments and real-time strategy (RTS) battles, and follows thirteen high-school students in a fictionalized 1980s Japan who are dragged into a futuristic war between mechas and hostile Kaiju in a nonlinear narrative. Director and writer George Kamitani conceived the game in 2013 following the completion of ''Dragon's Crown'', originally pitching it for a toy line. Diabolik Lovers
is a Japanese visual novel franchise by Rejet. Its first entry was released on October 11, 2012 for the PlayStation Portable system. Thus far, the franchise has released seven games with the first two having been remastered for the PlayStation Vita and released as ''"Limited V Editions"''. The seventh game was released in March 2019 playable on Nintendo Switch. The franchise has brought forth two 12-episode anime television adaptations by Zexcs, which aired from September 16, 2013 to December 9, 2013 and September 23, 2015 to December 9, 2015. The first series was followed by an OVA, which was included in ''Diabolik Lovers: Dark Fate'' on February 28, 2015. It has been made into various manga, anime, drama CDs, music CDs and fanbooks.
