''Shot'' is a song by the Finnish alternative rock band The Rasmus, originally released on the band's sixth studio album '' Hide from the Sun'' on September 2, 2006. The single was released on March 30, 2006. This is the last single to be released from ''Hide from the Sun''. The song "Immortal" was later released as a music video, but there was no single. The song reached #6 on the Finland Singles Chart. "First Day of My Life" is a song by the Finnish alternative rock band The Rasmus, originally released on the band's fifth album ''Dead Letters'' on 21 March 2003. It became one of numerous hit singles from the album, with the highest position being No. 4 in Finland. The single was released on 15 October 2003 by the record label Playground Music. The single (which was the third from ''Dead Letters'') features the music video of the song. UK edition also includes "Guilty" (live) and the b-side "Since You've Been Gone". Lauri Johannes Ylönen (born 23 April 1979) is a Finnish singer-songwriter, best known as the co-founder and frontman of the Finland, Finnish alternative rock musical ensemble, band The Rasmus. Biography The Rasmus When he and Heinonen started at Suutarila high school in the early 1990s, they met Pauli Rantasalmi and later Janne Heiskanen. Ylönen initiated the project of The Rasmus (then called just "Rasmus") in 1994, along with Eero Heinonen (bass guitar, bass) Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar), and Jarno Lahti (Drum kit, drums), with Lahti subsequently being replaced by Heiskanen. First, they called themselves Trashmosh, then Anttila, and at last Rasmus. They played their very first show before the winter break in school, 1994. They played songs with a style of rock music, rock and funk. Ylönen became the lead singer, composer and songwriter of the band. He quit school because the band took too much of his time. The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Jarno Lahti left the year after and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen in 1995. Heiskanen quit the band in 1999 and was soon replaced by Aki Hakala. Pauli Rantasalmi left the band and was replaced by female guitarist Emilia "Emppu" Suhonen in 2022.
