Shoei Kisen
is a Japanese company that produces a line of motorsport helmets. History Shoei is a Japanese company producing motorcycle helmets since 1958. Its roots go back to 1954 with the founding of Kamata Polyester Co., whose first helmets were produced primarily for use in the construction industry. Shoei's founder, Eitaro Kamata(鎌田栄太郎), was born to a family in Tokyo that operated a traditional Japanese restaurant, Edogin, and an inn near Shimbashi Station. Soichiro Honda and his colleague, Kiyoshi Kawashima Kiyoshi Kawashima (the first test rider and later President of Honda Motor Co.), who were located in Hamamatsu, became regulars for the inn, Kamata Ryokan, as they needed to come to the capital often. Deniz Öncü (born 26 July 2003) is a Turkish motorcycle racer, currently competing in the Moto3 World Championship, for team Red Bull KTM Tech3. His twin brother, Can Öncü, is also a motorcycle racer. Both brothers are mentored by Turkish multi-world champion motorcycle racer, Kenan Sofuoğlu. Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah (born 5 May 1994) is a Malaysian motorcycle racer, set to race in WorldSBK in 2022 With MIE Honda. In 2018, he became the first ever Southeast Asian to race in the MotoGP category. Career Early career Hafizh was born on 5 May 1994 in Selangor, Malaysia, and grew up in Selangor. He began his career at the age of 9, in pocket bikes, where he eventually acquired the nickname "King of Pocket Bikes". Jake Curtis Dixon (born 15 January 1996) is a British Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing for GasGas Aspar Team in the 2022 Moto2 World Championship. Dixon is best known for finishing runner-up in the 2018 British Superbike Championship, and being the youngest to qualify for the championship showdown in 2017. He is the son of Darren Dixon, TT F1 Superbike Champion in 1988 and double World Sidecar Champion in 1995 and 1996. Thomas Lüthi (born 6 September 1986) is a Swiss sporting director at Prüstel GP, and former Grand Prix motorcycle racer. He spent 19 years in Grand Prix world championships, becoming one of only six riders to reach 300 race starts, spending much of his career with the Interwetten Paddock team, with who he became the 2005 season's 125cc world champion.
