"Shockwave" is a song by English singer and songwriter Liam Gallagher. It was released as the lead single for Gallagher's second solo studio album, '' Why Me? Why Not.'' (2019). Gallagher co-wrote the song with Andrew Wyatt and producer Greg Kurstin. Kurstin also produced the single. "Shockwave" was released on 5 June 2019, and entered the UK Singles Chart at #22, being his best charting single since " Wall of Glass". William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He achieved fame as the lead vocalist of the rock band Oasis from 1991 to 2009, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye from 2009 to 2014, before starting a successful solo career in 2017. Oasis had various line-up changes, though Gallagher and his older brother Noel remained the only staple members.
