Shiphtur
Danny Le, better known as Shiphtur (pronounced "''shifter''"), is a Canadian retired '' League of Legends'' player who played support for Delta Fox of the NA Challenger Series. Shiphtur was the first esports player to be granted a P-1 athletic visa from the United States Department of State. On May 2, 2014, he joined Dignitas along with Darshan "ZionSpartan" Upadhyaya. On May 17, 2016, Apex Gaming acquired Dignitas' NA Challenger team including Shiphtur. On September 26, 2016, Apex and Dignitas were acquired by the Philadelphia 76ers, and Shiphtur was released from the Apex Roster but not added to Dignitas. Team Coast (esports)
Team Coast was an American esports organization and ''League of Legends'' website. It was originally formed under the name Good Game University on January 4, 2013, by the former roster of Team Dynamic following their departure from the parent organization. They named themselves Good Game University before changing their name to Team Coast on June 1, 2013. Their first offline tournament was the League of Legends Season 3 North American qualifiers where they qualified for a spot in the Season 3 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). P visa is a type of temporary employment visa of the United States, granted to alien athletes, artists, and entertainers, and their spouses and children. 2016 NA LCS Season
The 2016 NA LCS season was the fourth year of the North American ''League of Legends'' Championship Series. It was divided into spring and summer splits, each consisting of a regular season and playoff stage. Regular season games were played in the Riot Games Studios in Los Angeles, California. Format Teams compete in a double round robin tournament over the course of nine weeks during the regular season, with matches being best-of-three. The top six teams from the regular season advanced to the playoff stage, with the top two teams receiving a bye to the semifinals. The seventh place team qualifies for the next split of the LCS but does not participate in playoffs. The bottom three teams play in a promotion/relegation tournament against the top two NA Challenger Series teams. Playoffs were single-elimination and matches were best-of-five. Team Bianchi was a makeshift team that was put together from the remnants of the Coast team in time for the 2003 Tour de France. Team Coast had been unable to pay the salaries of their riders and Bianchi took over the team and the role of title sponsor.
