Shin-Kiba 1st Ring is an arena in Tokyo, which holds 290 people. It was opened in 2001, its first event being a JDStar "Grapple Beauty" show, even though the inside of the building was not even close to being completed. It has quickly become a favorite of smaller promotions, for its cheap rental prices and the close proximity that it has to Shin-Kiba Station, and the train lines. JDStar
JDStar (also spelt Jd'), was a women's professional wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan. In the wake of the joshi puroresu boom of the early 1990s, several different groups opened with distinct approaches. The Jd'Star promotion, with its subtitle, "Beauty Athlete," summed up the company's approach. History Jaguar Yokota came out of retirement and announced the formation of her promotion, JDStar, at a press conference, in 1995. In the beginning, she was the focal point of most of their shows. She left the promotion in 1998, After her departure, JDStar was bought by Kiyu Uji. The company had a nice roster, but none with the ability or personalities to attract much attention. World Wonder Ring Stardom (スターダム 女子プロレス), often referred to simply as Stardom (stylized as ST★RDOM), is a Japanese '' joshi puroresu'' or women's professional wrestling promotion based in Tokyo, Japan. Stardom was founded in September 2010 by former All Japan Women co-producer Rossy Ogawa, retired professional wrestler and mixed martial artist Fuka Kakimoto, and All Japan Women veteran professional wrestler Nanae Takahashi. Stardom is currently owned by Japanese card game company Bushiroad, making it the sister promotion of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Stardom quickly became one of the top ''joshi puroresu'' promotions, largely thanks to gravure idol Yuzuki Aikawa becoming the promotion's public face.
