Shin'en Multimedia
Shin'en Multimedia is a German Independent video game developer. Based in Munich, the company was founded in 1999 by former members of the demoscene group Abyss and is an official third-party developer for Nintendo. They develop games primarily for the Nintendo Switch, some non-Nintendo platforms such as the PlayStation 4, and previously for the Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color. In addition to developing games, Shin'en created the soundtracks for around 200 video games by other developers, and built the GHX, GAX, DSX, and NAX (which is based on the GAX) handheld audio middleware. Their name is derived from the Japanese word 深淵 (''shin'en'', "abyss"), as a nod towards their original name. Story Taking place in the future, the supply ship E.S.S. Ariga is returning from its latest voyage when the awakening crew is alerted by a three-year-old distress call. ''Garfield's Nightmare'' is a platform game released for the Nintendo DS, based on the popular cartoon strip ''Garfield''. The game follows Garfield traveling through 16 levels trying to escape a nightmare. Plot Garfield comes up with the idea to combine breakfast, lunch and dinner to have more time for his other activities. He crams several pizzas, lasagnas and bags of jelly donuts into a large sandwich, which he eats. However, this proves to be too much for him, and he slowly falls asleep and his nightmare begins. The Game Factory was a Danish video game publisher operating in Europe and North America. The Game Factory was founded in 2004 and fully owned by K.E. Mathiasen A/S, with headquarters just outside Aarhus, Denmark. Its titles were distributed either by the company's own sales force in Scandinavia, their parent company K.E. ''Nanostray'' is a vertically scrolling shooter for the Nintendo DS. The user takes control of a futuristic spacecraft against a horde of enemies. A sequel, ''Nanostray 2'', was released in 2008. Gameplay Basic gameplay consists of first defeating waves of many small enemies and then greater, stronger enemies. When all enemies in a wave are destroyed, a blue powerup that restores the power weapon bar is released. Enemies can also release coins when destroyed, worth some points.
