The Great Adventure (Steven Curtis Chapman Album)
''The Great Adventure'' is the fifth album released by Christian music, Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman. The album was released on June 19, 1992 by Sparrow Records. It went RIAA certification, Gold in just under one year, being certified. The album was listed at No. 33 in the 2001 book, ''CCM Presents: The 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music''. It brought Chapman several Gospel Music Association awards at the 24th GMA Dove Awards in 1993, including Song of the Year (with Geoff Moore), Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, and Short Form Music Video of the Year for the title song, and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. The album also won the 1993 Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album. The album features guest appearances by artists like Toby McKeehan (dc Talk), BeBe Winans, and Ricky Skaggs. ''Anzacs'' (named for members of the all volunteer army formations) is a 1985 Australian five-part television miniseries set in World War I. The series follows the lives of a group of young Australian men who enlist in the 8th Battalion (Australia) of the First Australian Imperial Force in 1914, fighting first at Gallipoli in 1915, and then on the Western Front for the remainder of the war. It follows in the wake of Australian New Wave war films such as ''Breaker Morant'' (1980), '' Gallipoli'' (1981), and precedes '' The Lighthorsemen'' (1987). ''Sunday Night Theatre'' was a long-running series of televised live television plays screened by BBC Television from early 1950 until 1959. The productions for the first five years or so of the run were re-staged live the following Thursday, partly because of technical limitations in this era, and the theatrical basis of early television drama. Some of the earliest collaborations between Rudolph Cartier and Nigel Kneale were produced for this series, including ''Arrow to the Heart'' (1952, 1956) and ''Nineteen Eighty-Four'' (1954). The Sunday night drama slot was subsequently renamed ''The Sunday-Night Play'' which ran for four seasons between 1960 and 1963. Synopsis From 1955 to 1967 approximately 500 episodes aired on ITV. The first production was ''Ten Minute Alibi'', produced by Associated-Rediffusion on 14 May 1956 while the earliest to survive is ''There Was a Young Lady'', transmitted on 23 July 1956 and was telerecorded (film recorded).
